Data and intelligence are becoming new dynamics in the field of information systems, and play a more important role in the economic and social fields. In order to deeply grasp the new requirements in the process of data-driven and social governance reform in the new era, promoting the deep integration of the new generation of information technology with production, teaching and research, and realize the development and innovation of information systems in the construction of an intelligent society, on October 10-13,2019, the 8th National Congress of China Association for Information Systems (CNAIS 2019) with the theme of Information System Innovation in Smart Society was held at the Nanjing University.
The conference is hosted by the China Association for Information Systems (CNAIS) and co-hosted by the Nanjing University. The conference was attended by nearly 600 participants from domestic and foreign experts and scholars in the field of information systems，including Professor Li Yijun, former deputy director of the Division of Management Science of the NSFC；Professor Chen Guoqing, founding chairman of CNAIS；Professor Ma Feicheng, Founding Vice Chairman of CNAIS and Senior Professor of Wuhan University; and Professor Mao Jiye, current chairman of CNAIS. The opening ceremony was chaired by Professor Sun Jianjun, Dean of School of Information Management at Nanjing University.
The organizer invited 8 keynote-speakers to take keynote speeches about the theory and practice of information systems domain, and the conference was divided into 13 sessions. Focusing on the topics of system design and design science, human-computer interaction , financial technology , information security and privacy , system adoption and user behavior , information systems economics, social media and E-commerce, smart health and smart aging , IT governance , data science and business intelligence , knowledge management, service science and service model innovation , methodology of neural information systems , a total of 70 authors of the paper had a warm and in-depth discussion.
The experts and representatives at this conference have made in-depth discussions on how to grasp the new requirements in the process of data-driven and social governance reform in the new era, how to promote the deep integration of the new generation of information technology with production, learning and research, and how to realize the development and innovation of information systems in the construction of an intelligent society, it will promote the innovation and development of academic research, discipline construction and industry application of Information Systems discipline in China.
